A wide range of options are available to those who join Country Club de Chapala, such as enjoyment of our golf course and our various clubhouse activities. An explanation of options and a schedule of fees follow:
SHAREHOLDER GOLFING MEMBERSHIP
A Shareholder/golfing Membership is one which allows an individual/couple full use of the Country Club, including full golfing and clubhouse privileges.We are a member-owned facility. Therefore one of the requirements of full membership is the purchase of a share.
Shareholders participate in the management of the Club and are eligible to run for the Board, vote on issues affecting the Country Club, and serve on committees.Shareholder/Golfing Members may participate in all Club Tournaments.
CONTRACT GOLFING MEMBERSHIP
A Contract Golfing Membership is one which allows an individual/couple to become a member by paying the Share over a 60 month period, at the end of which you receive your Share Certificate.
There is a $1000 US administrative fee.Contract Golfing Members may participate in all Club Tournaments
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP
A Social Membership allows an individual/couple full use of the clubhouse. Social Members may attend any or all of our social functions and make use of the restaurant and clubhouse throughout the year. There are no golfing privileges.
SIX-MONTH INTRODUCTORY MEMBERSHIP
A Six-Month Introductory Membership allows an individual /couple golf and social privileges for a continuous six-month period. A provision has been made for participants to convert to a Golfing Membership at any time during this six-month period.This Six-Month Introductory Membership may be used only once in a lifetime.Participants in this promotional golf package shall not be allowed to participate in major club tournaments.
For Men, the exclusions are: President’s Cup and Club ChampionshipFor Women, the exclusions are: President’s Cup, Club Championship, Seniors and Ace of the Month.
